Siphon Assembly ONLY, for 5,000mL Media Bottle. Replacement part for 50143207 (5,000mL media bottle). Siphon assembly consists of stainless steel siphon pipe and silicone tubing cut to length. All stainless parts are manufactured from 316L stainless steel electropolished to a 20Ra or better finish. The silicone tubing is peroxide cured and meets 21 CFR 177.2600 material specifications.Assembled, the media bottle with siphon assembly allows the user to create precisely the desired dip tube angle to retrieve virtually all of the contents of fluid from the bottle.

Bottle ONLY, Amber, 5L, Media Storage, GL-45. Heavy duty bottle which can be used for storage as well as mixing and sampling. Glass bead indicates full capacity line on 100mL through 2L size. Bottles have permanent white enamel graduations and marking spots. Optional red PBT caps and red ETFE pouring rings are available for dry heat sterilization (180°C). CAUTION: Bottles larger than 2L should NOT be used with bottle top filter units, or in other applications involving vacuum pressure, as breakage may occur. DO NOT have caps tightened immediately after autoclaving as the vacuum resulting from cooling can cause breakage. A pouring ring is not included on 25mL size. A vented cap is NOT recommended for use on the 5L and 10L bottle.

Hybex reusable glass media bottles are manufactured from high quality, borosilicate 3.3 glass. With their superior chemical resistance, these bottles are ideal for storage of reagents, culture media, biological fluids and a variety of other aqueous and nonaqueous solutions. A low coefficient of thermal expansion (3.3), provides temperature resistance that is far superior to that of standard lab glass (or soda lime glass). Hybex glass can withstand temperatures from -70 to 500°C, permitting repeated use in freezers, microwaves, autoclaves and dry heat sterilization chambers. All hybex media bottles include a drip-free sealing ring as well as a standard blue polypropylene (GL32) sealing cap. Ten per pack.
